Congress in Aktau 2019

On August 23-24, 2019, a regular congress of the Republican Public Association "Society of Interventional Cardiologists and Endovascular Surgeons" of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Aktau, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the organization of the Mangistau Regional Hospital. Within the framework of this event, a Scientific and Practical Conference was held on the topic: "Complex clinical cases in endovascular surgery, ways of their treatment and prevention of complications." The general sponsor of the event was Maccabi Med, which represents the world's leading manufacturer Boston Scientific in our country.

Within the framework of the congress, topics of interventional cardiology (complex cases, complications, ways of their prevention), interventional methods of treatment in oncology and neurosurgery were discussed. This Congress is of great scientific and practical value for doctors of interventional cardiologists, X-ray surgeons and endovascular surgeons. Lecturers from Kazakhstan, near and far abroad provided up-to-date information on various aspects of these areas. Master classes were held in X-ray surgical operation rooms of "Mangistau Regional Hospital" of the city of Aktau. Dr. Matchin Yuri Georgievich, MD, DSc, Prof., Head of the Laboratory for Endovascular Diagnostics and Treatment in Outpatient Conditions, Federal State Budgetary Institution National Medical Research Center of Cardiology, Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, held a master class on the topic: "Using iFR to determine treatment tactics." Dr. Aleksey E. Kolesnikov, head of the X-ray unit of the Research Institute of Cardiology and Internal Medicine, Almaty, conducted a master class on the topic: "Bifurcation stenting". High professionalism, which Matchin Yu.G. and Kolesnikov A.E. demonstrated at the master class, made a deep impression on all participants and listeners.

At the exhibition of medical devices, the participants of the congress were able to get acquainted with the latest achievements of domestic and foreign manufacturers, as well as establish contacts with leading supplier companies in Kazakhstan.
