PA "Society of Interventional Cardiologists and Endovascular Surgeons of Kazakhstan" was established in 2011. During the existence of the society, 4 congresses were held in Astana and Almaty, as well as 5 congresses in Oskemen, Petropavlovsk, Shymkent, Aktobe and Aktau. In addition to leading Kazakhstani specialists, many reputable foreign colleagues took part in these congresses. All the congresses had significant success and caused a wide response among medical professionals of the country and abroad. Conferences, congresses, and symposia are organized every year. Currently, the Society unites doctors from many cities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The society also actively cooperates with foreign colleagues; in particular, it participates in the program of the annual EuroPCR course, which is the world's leading course in cardiovascular medicine. Members of the Society attend this course annually to increase knowledge and exchange experience in the field of interventional cardiovascular cardiology. We also work closely with the European Society of Cardiology (ESC).
